Vanessa Robb, Partner, Anderson Lloyd
Vanessa Robb is a Partner in the Anderson Lloyd Property and Private Client Team. She is a property specialist with expertise in personal asset management, succession planning, trust law and relationship property, particularly with high-net worth clients. Vanessa also has considerable experience in property development and re-zoning, acquisitions, subdivisions and rural property transactions. Her range of experience, practising both in New Zealand and the UK, assists her to understand different clients’ needs and the complexities of their legal matters. Vanessa is a member of the Institute of Directors, the New Zealand Property Council and is a contributor to the Lawlink Trusts and Succession planning precedent database.


Peter Eastgate, Principal, TEP, Cavell Leitch
Peter Eastgate is the Trust Partner at Cavell Leitch, supervising one of the largest trust practices in the South Island. With over 35 years’ experience, he is a specialist in the areas of wills, estate and succession law, elder law, the law of attorneyship, asset protection and all aspects of trust law (including charitable trusts), and he acts as a trustee for many of his clients. A graduate of Canterbury University (Law) and the University of New England (Trust Management), he is a member of STEP, a Fellow of the Executor and Trustee Institute (AU), a member of the Trust Law Committee of the NZLS (Canterbury-Westland branch), and a senior member of the NZ Trustees Association. A strong advocate of ongoing education within the legal and trust professions, he has since 2007 been the NZ Legal Consultant at UWS College at the University of Western Sydney, supervising a trust and estate law teaching programme for NZ based students for the Executor and Trustee Institute.


Daniel Shore, Director, McCaw Lewis
Daniel believes in a strategic approach to dispute resolution and provides practical advice based on a full understanding of a client’s objectives, both from a legal and non-legal perspective. He assesses risk and works with clients to formulate strategies to best achieve the outcomes they seek. Daniel advises on a range commercial and property disputes, and also assists clients through trust, estate and relationship property disputes. He leads a group of perceptive and knowledgeable lawyers working in the dispute resolution space. Daniel studied at Copenhagen Law School and the University of Waikato and continues an association with the University of Waikato Faculty of Law (Te Piringa). Daniel is a Trustee of the McCaw Lewis Foundation, a registered charity that supports causes important to the McCaw Lewis whānau, and is a Board member of the Graeme Dingle Foundation Waikato. Daniel grew up in Hamilton and balances his work life with a number of sporting pastimes including an occasional round of golf. Daniel joined the firm in 2006 and was appointed a Director of the firm in 2013.


Awhina Clark-Tahana, Associate, Anderson Lloyd
Awhina is an associate in Anderson Lloyd’s Litigation Team and specialises in Civil Litigation. She began with Anderson Lloyd as a Law Clerk in their Dunedin office in February 2019, and progressed to Solicitor after being admitted to the bar in July the same year. Awhina studied at the University of Otago and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in History). Awhina is a member of Te Hunga Rōia Māori o Aotearoa/ New Zealand Māori Law Society, the New Zealand Insurance Law Association, Otago Women Lawyers’ Society and Dunedin Young Professionals.


Charlotte White, Senior Associate, Anderson Lloyd
Charlotte White is a Senior Associate in the Anderson Lloyd Property and Private Client Team in Dunedin and works closely with Vanessa. Charlotte specialises in personal asset management, succession planning, trust law, relationship property, complex estate administration and general property matters. Charlotte is a contributor to the Lawlink Trusts and Succession planning precedent database, and recently presented at the 2023 NZLS Legal Executives Conference.


Charlotte Webber, Partner, Anderson Lloyd
Charlotte specialises in litigation and dispute resolution, with particular expertise in personal and corporate insolvency, debt recovery, and security enforcement. Charlotte also has expertise in dispute resolution between directors, shareholders and trustees, and disputes involving negligent valuations and commercial leasing. Charlotte also advises clients in relation to insurance disputes and disputes under the Construction Contracts Act 2002. Charlotte has appeared in Court at all levels in New Zealand, including in the Supreme Court. Charlotte is a member of the Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association of New Zealand (RITANZ) and the New Zealand Insurance Law Association.
